About Marcia

Many interesting events have molded my character over the years. One of my fondest is when I was a young teenager who became a volunteer for the Operation HeadStart program during my summer break. Helping under privileged preschoolers obtain a head start to adjusting to a disciplined environment. I was always drawn to the children with much disregard for rules. As I befriended them I honestly don’t know what I said or did but within a short period of time they became happy to be there. I was asked to return each summer and I went from a volunteer to a Teacher’s assistant that first summer. This desire to help others and make a difference in someone’s life has been a part of me since. As a computer operator for Deere and Company in Moline Il., I became one of the first female supervisors. To my transition to the Desert in the late 1980s, I worked for Computerland in Palm Springs, installing Desktop Computers and then teaching the new owner how to use word and excel. Then I became the right hand man(woman) to one of the most influential realtors in the Desert who entrusted her business with me while she spent the summers in Michigan. Now, with 17 years in real estate, my real estate career flourishes as I partner with one of the most knowledgeable agents in the valley. Between us there is no problem we cannot resolve.
